The Old Fashioned
- 2-3 oz. Templeton Rye
- 1 Tsp. Simple Syrup (or 1 sugar cube and a teaspoon of water)
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- Orange Slice
- Luxardo Cherries
- Club Soda
This classic is one of our all-time favorites. Bartender’s all over the world have put their own twist on this drink. This version is our favorite. Muddle the orange slice, one cherry, the simple syrup (or sugar and water) and the bitters in the bottom of a rocks glass. Drop in a large ice cube or globe and pour in the rye. Top off with a splash of soda, add another whole cherry or two as a garnish, and sip this one like you’re an ad agency exec who just landed a big, new account.
The Vesper

Nothing satisfies our favorite secret agent’s thirst like the cocktail originated by his creator, Ian Fleming, in the book that started it all, “Casino Royale.” Combine all four ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously with cracked ice. Strain into a long stemmed cocktail glass (or even better, a coup, as Mr. Fleming instructed) and, after squeezing a bit of citrus oil over the glass, add a lemon peel to garnish. You are now licensed to thrill, 007.
